We are proud to be recognized for the 16th consecutive year by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, which awarded Kaiser Permanente the highest possible score on its 2022 Corporate Equality Index and named us a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality for our industry-leading equity, inclusion, and diversity practices and for our continuing work to provide the highest levels of opportunity and support to all of our employees.

The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization focused on equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals, and the Corporate Equality Index is the national benchmarking tool for corporate policies, practices, and benefits pertinent to LGBTQ employees.

The Corporate Equality Index evaluates businesses on their LGBTQ-related policies and practices, including nondiscrimination workplace protections, employment benefits, competency programs, and public engagement on LGBTQ equity. It is one of 6 equity, inclusion, and diversity benchmarking surveys that KP participates in annually.
